The swamping of the PBAC in 2025

The last PBAC update of the year highlights the heavy caseload the Committee dealt with in 2025.
The surge was obvious last year, with the PBAC causing consternation when it deferred 44 submissions that were due to be considered in the March meeting. In November 2024 Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler ordered the Committee to hold an additional meeting in May to handle the deluge.
