Butler orders extra PBAC meeting

Health Minister Mark Butler has directed the PBAC to hold an additional full meeting in May next year after the Committee deferred 44 submissions due to be considered in March, claiming it couldn't cope with evaluating the high number of submissions.
The move has doused what was fast becoming a political firestorm for the Albanese Government heading into an election year and comes after significant pushback from industry.
