Novo takes obesity fight to Qld

Novo Nordisk has partnered with the Queensland Futures Institute (QFI) on a new report outlining a prevention-first strategy to address overweight and obesity in Queensland’s mining and resources sector.

The report estimates that FIFO workers with multiple health risks, including obesity, can cost companies over $20 million per 1,000 workers annually in lost productivity.
