The market cap for 16 out of 20 of the world's biggest pharmas has tumbled, resulting in sweeping losses of US$200 billion across industry - and analysts are pointing the finger at US President Donald Trump.
New data from GlobalData's Pharmaceutical Intelligence Center has revealed that the top 20 global biopharmaceutical companies reported a combined downturn in over Q2 of 5.7 per cent quarter-on-quarter, from US$3.9 trillion on 31 March 2025 to US$3.7 trillion on 30 June 2025.
