Moderna has defended the deal it struck with the Morrison Government to build an mRNA manufacturing facility in Australia in the face of a disallowance motion in parliament seeking transparency on the deal.
The deal received a hammering on the floor of Federal Parliament from independent MPs who supported the motion, but with both the Government and Opposition opposing it the bill had no chance of passing, and was rejected 59-9. Moderna welcomed the support from the major parties.
