Workforce shrinks in tough call

News of jobs cuts across industry dominated the week with a tough call by Moderna to cut its workforce by 10 per cent out top story.
In a note to staff, CEO Stephane Bancel described the move as a "difficult decision but necessary step forward" adding the cuts were not made lightly as it impacted "teammates and friends" who had helped build the company.
