Bayer has shed 12,000 jobs in two years as part of its cost-cutting plan designed to save the company $US2.3 billion but the downsizing is not yet over according to CEO Bill Anderson.
At the end of June 2023, 30 days after Anderson started in the top job, the company reported it had 102,048 employees.Twelve months later it had dropped to 96,567 and according to the company's just-released Half-Year Financial Report it has dipped even further to 89,556.
