Gilead has made its largest ever investment in Indigenous health in Australia, committing $4.4 million over three years in grants to counter HIV and hepatitis C in collaboration with the Lowitja Institute.
The Guiding Local Opportunities for Wellbeing (GLOWS) Indigenous Health Grant program is a first-of-its-kind partnership between Gilead and the Lowitja Institute, Australia's only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled health research institute. The deal kicks off with $2.3 million covering 10 inaugural grants.
