US President Donald Trump has written to pharma companies giving them 60 days to lower the price of their drugs in the US to mirror what they charge abroad - with potentially devastating consequences for Australia.
He posted the letters on his Truth Social account delivering this ultimatum to the industry: "If you refuse to step up we will deploy every tool in our arsenal to protect American families from continued abusive drug pricing practices.”
