Secrecy shrouds lupus CAR T

An investigational CAR T-cell therapy for lupus being trialled in Australia has been hailed a “game changer” but the company behind the treatment is being kept under wraps.
Monash Health, in collaboration with Monash University, announced last month that they successfully treated the first lupus patient, 32-year-old Lani Watson, in Australia with the undisclosed CAR T.
