There was a swift stock market fallout from Donald Trump's announcement that tariffs on pharmaceuticals were coming "very" soon - with most Big Pharmas hit by an immediate dip in share price.
Yesterday, US companies Pfizer, MSD, Gilead and Lilly saw their share prices dip between 1.5 and three per cent while European pharmas slipped too, with Novo Nordisk stock down by about two per cent, Sanofi down by three and AstraZeneca and GSK, dipping four per cent.
