Trump backflips on pharma tariffs

A week after the industry started to breathe easy again, having avoided Donald Trump's brutal tariffs, the US President has backflipped revealing a "major tariff" on pharmaceuticals is coming "very soon".

In a televised address to the National Republican Congressional Committee today, Trump delivered a blow to pharma which just six days ago won an exemption from global tariffs for its pharmaceutical products.
