Can FDA mass sackings hurt Aust?

Australia's former Chief Health Officer, Professor Paul Kelly, has branded the mass sacking of 10,000 employees from the US Department of Health and Human services an attack on public health worldwide.

Under a transformation plan which purports to 'Make America Healthy Again' the Trump Administration last week announced significant downsizing of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
