New Zealand has passed legislation to speed up approval for certain medicines to faster than 30 days by piggy-backing on other countries.
Dubbed the Rule of Two, the legislation included in the Medicines Amendment Bill will enable a medicine to be approved within a month if it has approval from two recognised overseas jurisdictions.
