$1.5B in uncertified PBS meds

Pharmacists have piled up $1.5 billion worth of uncertified PBS claims, and the Department of Health and Aged Care has teamed with Services Australia to try and resolve the situation.
The issue is some advanced payments for claims to the PBS not being certified in a timely manner, and Services Australia warns that if a claim has been processed and determined but not certified, the advance payment may need to be repaid.
