Trump lets pharma off the hook

US President Donald Trump's much-anticipated global tariffs announcement this morning has let industry off the hook with an exemption on pharmaceuticals - at least, for now.
Using his so-called Liberation Day speech to declare Australians "wonderful people, wonderful everything" Trump still slugged Australia with a 10 per cent tariff - but the fine print indicates pharmaceuticals are exempt.
