Six new drugs up Butler's sleeve

Six brand new drugs are ripe for PBS listing however with a looming Federal Election, time is of the essence for Health Minister Mark Butler to announce further additions to the scheme.

Once an election is called, the government assumes a 'caretaker role' and under Caretaker Conventions, governments avoid making policy decisions or undertakings that are likely to commit an incoming government.
