UK Code breach for 'targeting kids'

Third-party social media posts featuring a photo of a schoolgirl with a teddy bear and encouraging children to take part in a vaccine trial has landed Moderna in hot water with the UK pharma watchdog, with the company found to have brought discredit on the industry.

But the case was only won on appeal with the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA) - the powerful investigative arm of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry - siding with Moderna when the complaint was initially heard.
