Ex-Aussie MD loses home in LA fire

Former Australian Managing Director for Amgen, Ian Thompson, has revealed he and his family have "lost everything" in the Palisades Wildfire in Los Angeles -  his home destroyed while he was travelling for business and his wife and daughter were visiting Sydney.

"My family lost everything in the Palisades Wildfire. Good news first. We are safe. My wife and daughter were in Sydney at the time. I was on a business trip," he said.
