New precision med guidelines

First of a kind international guidelines have been developed to ensure best reporting in precision medicine research with the aim of improving accuracy, safety and health equity - with a Melbourne-based academic helping  drive the improvements.

Until now there have been no standardised guidelines for reporting research on precision medicine, which tailors treatment to unique aspects of each person and their disease. This has made it difficult to compare and use research by different groups.
