Burnout sweeps Aussie industry

A room full of industry professionals at this month's ARCS Annual Conference were asked anonymously if any had felt or were currently feeling symptoms of burnout - and 90 per cent said yes.

When asked what they believed was driving the problem, extreme workload was named as the number one issue but there were a variety of other challenges troubling Australian industry employees ranging from 'office politics', 'terrible management' to 'poor team culture' and 'unrealistic expectations from the boss'.
