Company braces for more layoffs

Novavax has announced another round of layoffs, as it attempts to stay afloat long enough to gain some market share for its protein-based Covid vaccine.

The company announced it would reduce its total global workforce by about 12 per cent, including full-time employees and contractors. The move comes after slashing its workforce less than a year ago, when it eliminated one in four positions.
