Ex-Minister snags top industry role

Former Victorian Minister for Innovation, Medical Research and the Digital Economy Jaala Pulford has been appointed Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board for MTP Connect, Australia's growth centre for the pharma, biotech and med tech industries.

Pulford worked with the Federal Government to secure a partnership with Moderna to establish a pandemic scale manufacturing capability for Australia. The new manufacturing and finishing facility under construction in Victoria, is the first location in the southern hemisphere to make mRNA vaccines.
