Top companies blasted for secrecy

Researchers are calling on the pharma industry to make clinical trial data underpinning cancer drug approvals available as soon as they are registered, after finding more than half of the data remains hidden.

The international team led by Flinders University in Adelaide looked at what proportion of clinical trials underpinning the registration of cancer medicines in the US over the past 10 years were eligible for sharing with qualified researchers.
