PBAC July meeting winners and losers
Almost three quarters of the new PBS listing submissions considered at the PBAC’s July meeting were given the green light; however, many highly anticipated drugs have been delivered a blow.
A deep dive into the new PBS listing submissions tabled for the meeting shows 20 submissions were recommended and seven were knocked back.
Another three submissions have been marked ‘not applicable’, with the PBAC stating a recommendation cannot be made public until the TGA outcomes is known.
