Black market booms for future blockbuster

Eli Lilly has filed lawsuits against six businesses in the US, accusing them of selling illegal versions of its next-generation weight-loss drug retatrutide.

While retatrutide is yet to be approved by the FDA, the black market is booming. 

“This is a global problem and it’s an enormous one,” Lilly Associate Vice ​President Max Denning told CBS News. “Six lawsuits is not going to be the solution to everything, but it is a start.”
