Ex-Bayer boss joins Astellas

Astellas has appointed Geoff Allars to the role of Head of Sales for Australia, although the company is yet to name a new General Manager.
Allars brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across sales, marketing, and commercial operations in the pharmaceutical industry, including roles at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Amgen, Roche, and Sanofi. Over the past three years, Allars has been with Bayer where he held the role of Head of Sales before stepping into the role of Head of Customer Engagement.
