2 complete responses in 4 weeks

Just a month after starting a new cohort, Sydney-based Imugene is reporting two complete responses in new cancers.

On 28 May this year Imugene expanded its Phase 1b trial of off-the-shelf CAR T therapy azercabtagene zapreleucel (azer-cel) in patients with Relapsed/Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia to include a cohort that had failed prior BTK inhibitor therapy, to see whether concurrent treatment with a BTK inhibitor may improve the activity of azer-cel.
