Aussie drug heads to LA

A promising new prostate cancer treatment developed by Aussie researchers is a step closer to reaching patients after Los Angeles-based Ellison Medical Institute (EMI) acquired rights to the candidate for an undisclosed price.

Based on research led by Professor Greg Monteith from the University of Queensland School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, QED-203 was developed at the Queensland Emory Drug Discovery Initiative (QEDDI), the small molecular drug discovery group of UniQuest.
