Will evolutionary drug be funded?

An "evolution in the management approach" of a chronic disease has been approved by the TGA, but subsequent PBS subsidisation has been described as "challenging".

Novartis' highly selective oral BTK inhibitor Rhapsido has landed on the ARTG, the first and currently only BTK inhibitor to be approved to treat chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) in adults who remain symptomatic despite H1 antihistamine treatment.
