With its diabetes and obesity products among the most popular medicines on the planet, Novo Nordisk has launched an Australian-first pilot to recycle used medical injection pens.
As part of the company's global ReMed program, it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pharmacycle, TerryWhite Chemmart, Northern Sydney Local Health District's Royal North Shore Hospital and St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney to explore practical, scalable recycling pathways, from pharmacies to hospitals.
