20 drugs jostle for April PBS slots

Eight new drugs could make their first appearance on the PBS in April along with the first rival for Biogen’s Tysabri and a raft of new indications for blockbuster drugs.

The 20-strong list includes all applications that have reached the ‘government processes’ stage, which is the last stage before listing occurs, after being recommended by the PBAC between November 2024 and December 2025.
