What pharma marketers think ChatGPT and other AI answer engines are delivering to online questions about their medicines is alarmingly different to what is actually being dished up, an Australian search expert has warned.
Just as concerning, some treatments aren't turning up at all, Brand Medicine International Founder Julia Walsh said giving the example of one prescription drug failing to meet sales targets after three years in the market despite 100,000 online queries a month in the disease space.
