Funding boosts local cancer trials

A funding injection from the NSW State Government has boosted the number of cancer trials undertaken through the NSW Early Phase Clinical Trials Alliance (NECTA) from 150 to 180 in the past three years.

Coordinated by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research with funding support from the NSW Government’s Cancer Institute NSW, NECTA is a state-wide network of doctors, researchers, clinical trial specialists and hospitals who are collaborating to boost access to early-stage clinical trials
