French pharma Sanofi has dumped its CEO to welcome back an executive that left 15 years ago and returns with experience as the head of a rival company.
On Wednesday Sanofi's Board of Directors decided not to renew the Director mandate of CEO Paul Hudson, and his last day in the job will be Tuesday 17 February. The company already has a replacement lined up, out-going Merck CEO Belén Garijo, the first woman to lead one of Germany's 40 largest companies.
