20+ companies hit PBS bottleneck

More than 20 pharmas are in the running to secure a PBS listing next month, with seven of those companies looking to add a brand new drug to the scheme.
The massive list includes all applications that have reached the ‘government processes’ stage, also known as the last stage before listing occurs, after being recommended by the PBAC between November 2024 and November 2025.
