Call for new medicines pathway

The Cannabis Council of Australia (CCA) is calling for a shake-up of Australia's medicinal cannabis laws with a three-pronged approach including a new dedicated pathway for the approval of medicinal cannabis products.
It's also calling for a clinical governance framework to support and guide prescribers, pharmacists, patients and referrers. It would include standardised prescriber training requirements and a public prescriber register.
