Dept squeezes PBAC deadline

Posted 9 September 2025 AM

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing has brought forward the cut-off for providing a Notice Of Intent for pharmas to submit for the March 2026 PBAC meeting, and is demanding additional information to accompany it.

The Department is now asking for the NOI to be in by 17 September 2025, and has said it will seek approval to formalise the change in regulations so that from 2026 onwards the standard NOI deadline will move to eight weeks prior to the submission due date.
