Will adopting AI make PBAC faster?

Using AI in PBAC assessments would "markedly reduce" evaluation time leading to "rapid access" to more affordable and effective medicines for Australians, according to the Department of Health, Disability and Aged care.

A letter from Department Secretary Blair Comley to Minister for Finance Katy Gallagher has outlined a series of actions that already comply with legislation or are well advanced through the legislative process, as well as longer term regulatory reforms.
