Jobs cut in "difficult decision"

Moderna has announced it will slash its global workforce by 10 per cent in what the CEO described as a "difficult decision, but necessary step forward".
In a note to staff posted on the company's website, CEO Stephane Bancel said the downsize would be complete by the end of this year with the new, streamlined workforce dropping to under 5000. It currently sits at about 5800.
