GSK campaign draws big names

A new GSK awareness campaign urging parents and young adults to be vigilant against rising meningococcal cases has been backed by medical experts, survivors of the disease and high profile Olympians.

With peak season underway,  parents of young children between birth and four-years-old and young adults, aged between 15 and19, in particular, are being encouraged to pay attention to early flu-like symptoms that may signal the onset of meningococcal infection.
