Medicines Australia (MA) has publicly opposed looming pharmaceutical tariffs flagged by US President Donald Trump, using the debate as a neat segue into the urgent need for HTA reform.
In a statement issued after Trump declared "very, very high" tariffs on drugs imported into the US - in the vicinity of 200 per cent - MA said its members support "free, fair and open trade".
