No promises on faster PBS listings

With Australians going to the polls in just 10 days, a do-or-die debate at the National Press Club between Health and Aged Care Minister Mark Butler and his Shadow Anne Ruston failed dismally to deliver on faster PBS listings.

Both sides of politics offered non-committal responses to a question on reducing the average wait of 466 days from TGA registration to PBS listing with Butler saying "it's gotta shrink" and Ruston urging that it needs to be "much quicker".
