Butler ambushed over PBS drugs

Health and Aged Care Minister Mark Butler was ambushed by a Seven news reporter, who demanded answers after forcing him to watch a desperate plea from a cancer patient whose treatment is not reimbursed on the PBS.

Butler was attempting a quick getaway after a media conference on Friday to promote a drop in the PBS co-pay when he was stopped and asked to watch a 15-second heartfelt plea from Eva Bishop who has pancreatic cancer.
