Art prize showcases disease impact

Gedeon Richter has announced the winners of the inaugural endoMEtriosis Art Competition, a moving initiative using art to spotlight the lived experiences of women with the condition.

There were 37 entrants from across Australia with 'Self-Portrait of Endometriosis on a Work Day'  by Marcy D'Souza declared the winner. It was described as providing a "voyeuristic view" into the artist's 18-year struggle with endometriosis.
