Tackling industry's digital absence

An increasing proportion of the public is turning to digital channels to access health information and the pharma industry sometimes lacks a suitable presence to answer these questions, something a new workshop hopes to address.

Last year a study published in the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health found that 89 per cent of Australian parents had used search engines to find health information about their child, and 43 per cent of parents of children with chronic illness had accessed social media looking for information.
