PBS review finds admin lacking

The Australian National Audit Office has labeled the administration of the PBS 'partly effective' after a year-and-a-half long review.

In July last year the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) was tasked with ensuring the $19.5 billion budgeted for the PBS for the 2024-25 financial year, to ensure that Australians have timely, reliable, and affordable access to medicines, is administered effectively.
