Medicine an election 'sleeper' issue

Access to medicines and medical technology is hotting up as an election issue with a new survey exposing the pain points of Australians when it comes to healthcare. 

Most Australians surveyed (83 per cent) agreed that healthcare should be a funding priority, with 53 per cent of swinging voters - a key demographic in shaping election outcomes - expressing strong support for a political party that prioritises investment in medicines and medical technology.
