Trump trouble for Aussie pharma

Australian drug price negotiations could be about to get a whole lot harder with news that incoming US President Donald Trump is planning to cut the cost of medicines for Americans by urging pharma companies to raise their prices in other developed countries.

In an interview with the Economic Club of Washington this week, Eli Lilly CEO David Ricks said this would be one of the aims of the new administration.
