A remote heart screening program has revealed high levels of cardiovascular disease risk factors in participants, exposing the need for programs focused on prevention.
The screening program was run by Novartis Australia, the Shane Warne Legacy, SiSu Health Group, and Wesfarmers Health, offering 3,000 tests at community pharmacists across rural and regional communities in the electorates of Mallee in Victoria and Gilmore in NSW.
